Four people were shot at a high school football game between Choctaw High School and Del City High School on Friday night.

Choctaw Police Chief Kelly Marshall said the victims were transported to the hospital so they could be treated for gunshot wounds. At least one of the victims was a student.

Del City Police Chief Loyd Berger, meanwhile, said an off-duty officer fired his weapon while at the game. That officer was not injured though.

“One of our officers was involved and discharged his weapon,” Berger said. “As far as who or if he hit anything–I really don’t know at this point.”

The exact moment when shots were fired was actually captured on the Skordle broadcast. Players and coaches immediately sprinted off the field once this happened.

As seen on the scoreboard, the shooting occurred during the third quarter of play.

The police reportedly received a description of a male suspect. As of Friday night, nobody was in custody for this shooting.

Our thoughts are with those who were affected by Friday’s shooting in Oklahoma.
