A Russell Springs resident learned the hard way that cats aren’t chew toys after deputies nabbed the alleged ear-biting animal abuser in a bizarre domestic dispute.
🚨 What We Know: Deputies raced to Skyview Drive on May 10 after receiving a distress call about a domestic altercation with a feline victim. The 22-year-old man allegedly bit the cat’s ear off, claiming that the cat bit him first. Officers promptly arrested the peculiar perpetrator and charged him with Torture of a Dog or Cat.
🕵️ The Arrest: The sheriff’s office quickly collared the cat-chomping culprit and transported him to Pulaski County Detention Center without incident. The following day, deputies filed additional charges related to two more feline fatalities from April.
⚖️ Why It Matters: Our furry friends can’t defend themselves against humans with bizarre appetites for ears. The accused now faces three counts of animal torture and sits behind bars with a $50,000 bond.
🐱 Remember The Golden Rule: If you witness animal abuse, report it immediately to local authorities. Our four-legged friends depend on humans to speak up when they can’t.
