A person in a werewolf mask broke into a business on Chef Menteur Highway early, according to New Orleans Police. Investigators say the break-in happened around 3:07 a.m. on April 15. The person climbed over a fence at the back of the business in the 6000 block, forced open the door, and put on a werewolf mask before going inside.
Police say the person used a crowbar to break into the cash registers and took cash. The person also grabbed merchandise, put it in black plastic bags, and left the store. Investigators say the person ran toward Stemway Drive and then disappeared.
Police released photos of the person and the werewolf mask. They are asking for help from the public to identify and find the person.
